Manchester United central defender linked with Barcelona, Dani Alves in the transfer market next winter.
Spanish media said that United wanted to bring in an experienced player in January, targeting Dani Alves is considered perfect to improve their defense.
Dani Alves deal with Barcelona expires in June 2015 and there has been no sign of Barcelona wants to extend it.
Alves, who has 31-year-old could have Rafael shift from right-back position.
